Dave and Katie invited Meili and Ana to go with their family on a "Thomas the Tank Engine" train ride in Heber Valley, about an hour away. They had a really good time. Meili took all of these pictures.

Hope of America

The 5th graders in Utah County (thousands of them!) get to participate in a Freedom Festival event called Hope of America. It's pretty spectacular. Wish you all could have been there for Eliah's performance. As you can see, the kids wore red, white, blue or yellow t-shirts and then sat in formation to display the American flag. They sang patriotic songs and made our hearts swell with pride. (5/1/07)
