The Last Hurrah!

Our last night at Dave & Robynn's. Jake & Ana were off playing at the time of this picture, and Robynn was behind the camera. Oh well! What a great trip and what a great family I have. Thanks, everyone!

Beached Sea Creature

What a treat to find this guy (or is it a girl?) just lounging on the beach with the rest of us. Actually he was just taking a break from deep sea diving. (At least that's what the signs all around him said.) We sure had fun watching him use his fin to scratch his back. (second picture)

Boogie Boarding Babes

Abbie and Meili venture out.

Abbie, Meili & friend Carlie. Yes, that's Ana among them, thinking she's big enough to go too.

Like a Fish to Water . . .

Ana just loved the chaos of the waves chasing her!

A Day at the Beach

We fled 110+ degree weather in the Sacramento area and spent an aternoon on cool & breezy Dillon Beach. Refreshing! Mei, Camille, and Ana started out by building sandcastles.

Dave & Jake contemplate the waves.

Back to San Francisco

Daryl had to fly out of San Francisco on a business trip, so we took all the kids for an afternoon along Fisherman's Wharf. Here they are on the ferry ride out to Golden Gate Bridge and around past Alcatraz. It was a beautiful day, and the waves were choppy!

Girls! Girls! Girls!

This post has all the girl cousins present at the party. The boys never sat down once the fireworks began. Too busy being pyromaniacs, truth be told. If you look very closely, you can see some of them in the background of the fountain firework.
