Playing with Her Souvenirs
Ana got some little woodland creatures from a gift shop in Yosemite. She spent our last day in California feeding them grass out on Grandpa's patio.

Outside our family's little cabin. Robynn described the interior best when she said it was very "East L. A."

Eliah took this picture of us enjoying the little pool by our cabin. We did a lot of rock-skipping there. Eliah is the champion, with a throw that skipped eight times. Amazing!

Back From Yosemite
Just got back from a fun family trip to California and Yosemite National Park. We've got some great pictures to share, but they're on Daryl's laptop. Maybe I'll get at them tonight. We're all doing well and looking forward to more fun summer days as the cousins start heading our direction.

A New Look
Trying a brighter template for our blog this summer. I thought a change was in order. Meili is at girls camp with our only digital camera. Hope to post her pictures soon. Eliah babysat Ana tonight and tucked her in. She was all settled when Daryl and I got home. Ya is such a great help.

A Budding Blogger
Lately Ana has been playing with a pretend camera. After she takes your picture, she smiles and says, "I'm gonna go put this on my blog."

Hope of America
The 5th graders in Utah County (thousands of them!) get to participate in a Freedom Festival event called Hope of America. It's pretty spectacular. Wish you all could have been there for Eliah's performance. As you can see, the kids wore red, white, blue or yellow t-shirts and then sat in formation to display the American flag. They sang patriotic songs and made our hearts swell with pride.
