Inferno Cone

Inferno Cone is a steep hill composed entirely of pulverized lava rock. This is not dirt you're looking at--the terrain is actually black cinders (they're so black they're almost blue). Every step you take makes a crunching sound. We all climbed the steep grade and enjoyed the view from the top. Really unusual, other worldly stuff.
